First Week of Work

I started my new job teaching music at an after school program. It is quite exciting, however, I really miss my little angel Andrea Bev. I am so glad I am only doing this part time, as I think it would be so hard to go a whole day without her.

I come home and see her smiling at me, and I just love life, and know I am working for her. We can't wait for daddy to be a doctor!
I love her little dimples---Steve and I fight over which side has bigger dimples, since we both have BIG dimples on opposite cheeks. What do you think?

Go Cougars! Our first Football Game!

Today was a momentous day as our little gal ventured to her first football game! This picture, however, is NOT what she looked like (this is from another day just cheering at home). She had at least 4 layers of clothing on, not including daddy's coat, which was the final outcome of being wrapped in the baby backpack with dad's coat around her. She had two hats on.

Well, we are trying to start initiating the BYU culture at a young age. FYI--she slept the entire game! For those of you who watched this game versus Eastern Washington---IT SNOWED....alot! We were cold, but BABY WAS FINE! She is ready for the next one! We won, of course...go COUGARS! Our baby is already bleeding blue just like her momma!

A real Miracle

It was quite an adventure when Andrea Bev decided to come to the world. Her momma was in the hospital a week before she was born, and then finally had to be induced. It was a little difficult for all of us, especially when baby Andy had to be in the NICU for some four weeks. . That was defintely the trial of my faith, and patience. What an experience to have to watch my baby being taken care of by other people. I would not wish this upon anyone. It broke our hearts not to be able to take her home with us. I guess it was so hard on momma that I decided I needed to be readmitted just a few days later to be close to my baby (yeah right)
What a joy to have a child come to this world! She has been a ray of light, and full of the spirit! She is such a happy gal and we love every minute we get with her. It is so good to have her home. Momma treats her like a little doll, and as you can see, loves to paint her nails and get her all pretty. She is going to be the oldest, and hopefully will have some brothers and sisters to join her not far in the future! She gets bigger and bigger everyday and it is hard to beleive that she just over five pounds when she was born. We love her and count ourselves amoung the truly blessed to have this little miracle in our lives

What are sister's for?

It is my SISTER who started this blog, so I thought it apporpriate to do an "ode" to Sara (after all, it is what everyone on her mission does---right sara?) Sometimes I wonder who the older sister is. It was so great to have her here and be pregnant at the same time. I really needed someone to walk me through the steps and tell me everything was going to be o.k. She has always been there for me, and I didn't know how to repsond when she said she was leaving to Texas. So happy for you and your family, but you are deeply missed. Texas is getting the best family ever! Thankyou for always being an example, and someone I could just dump my problems on. Thankyou for being the support I needed and the friend when it seemed all were gone. I love you sis! Sisters are Forever!

You have an aunt named sweetness?

I love that my little gal was blessed in the same dress as her momma. Not only that, but the dress was a present from great grandma Bev's (alas, the reason for the middle name) store. Steve and I just adore out little angel and call her everything but her name; sweety, cuteness, angel, ball of perfection, lover, sweetness.
We had two friends over the other day and one asked if her middle name was namesake for her aunt. The other friend responded, " You have an aunt named Sweetness?" Steve and I about died. It is true! Our hometeachers said she proabably won't even know her name until she is 5 or so. That is our little angel andy bev! Oh, and the Bev is for Grandma Bev, Aunt Bev, and Kaylie Bev
