Rambling thought...

I never thought I could be multifaceted, but at this moment I am doing
4 or so things at once. I am writing, listening intently to my
music...listening for my baby and reading my new favorite book all at
the same time.
Sara asked how I have time to read...I don't. I just don't sleep and then it happens somehow.

I wanted to let all of you know about our wonderful Christmas!
Everything, and I do mean EVERYTHING changes when you have a child.
Everything is more exciting and thrilling and wonderful. Don't get me
wrong, my hubby and I loved when it was just the two of us..but now
that we have a little family it is a little more complete. I know Andy
is too young to really understand anything that is going on yet, but we
don't care. Just to see her face light up as she discovers new things.
Bows and ribbons really got the better of her this Christmas.

Steve and I were thinking all about her and that changes EVERYTHING. I
thought about the sweet spirit she brings and how her joy is truly my
joy and I flash forward to the future and see her getting all giggly
and running around crazy looking at christmas.
I have never felt
like I am a vain person, but I get such pride and joy when I am dolling
up my little gal. Anyone who knows me well finds it hard to believe. I
barely can get myself dressed and decent, but I go the extra mile with
my dear little gal. She is my pride and I have so much fun with her. We loved dressing her up as Santa.

I am so grateful for the Christmas season and for what it stands for. I
am one of those crazy people that starts listening to Christmas music
in Sept. Why do we have to wait until December? We should be
celebrating the birth of Christ all the time. I love how the season
brings people together and causes reflection. I hope all of you that
choose to read this take the time to reflect on the glorious reason
that we celebrate Christmas. And if no one ever reads it, at least I
can express my feelings to myself that I am so grateful to be here, with
my family, on this earth and to have a savior. May the peace and spirit
and love of christmas be with all our family and friends!

Here comes Santa!

I absolutley love Christmas! It is so much more fun with a baby around...isn't she cute? It is hard to get her to smile in front of the camera...she really gets camera shy for some reason. Just like her dad. Notice that her nails are red?
She got to spend a little bit of time with her uncle Seth. She is really going to miss him when he goes on his mission, but will think about him all the time.
I went to the mall today to see if I could get a picture of my little gal on Santas lap. Well, the world we live it nowadays apparently maked you pay for everything. YOu can't even sit on santa's lap without paying for it. I was devastated. As I was sitting there, figuring what I could do, I ran into an old friend of mine. He looked at my baby and said she needed some pictures with santa, and he wanted to give our family a long overdue present. So, he paid for pictures with santa. It was such a giving act, and I loved it. Unfortunatly, I can't post those pics, so these will have to do...

Just Chillen!!

This is her new thing....she will just sit and put her hands behind her head and chill. She just watch whatever it is I am doing and follow me. If the TV is on, there you go...she just puts her hand behind her head and relaxes! It makes me laugh so hard!

Ok, so we have a thumbsucker on the loose! The little gal does NOT and I repeat NOT like bottles or pacifiers. It is either MOM or the thumb! BUt oh, is it cute or what!
New dress with shoes to match, but somehow, they don't seem to fit....we shall see...

All Connected, I promise!

I am sure you are all wondering how these three things can be connected? It is a stretch, but let me attempt to explain the magnitude of our Halloween Costumes! Can you guess the connection?
I wanted so much for us all to be matching...We didn't have money so we had to make due with what we had. Steve is a Madador--but not from spain, from third world Mexico, and since he is one from third world Mexico, the madador could not afford to fight a real BULL Oh no, those are too much. So instead, he fights a tiger, a small and cute lovable tiger.

You can't do any of this without a vet on call. The vet just happened to be slashed by the vicious tiger. And there you have it! What a fun, creative, cute family right?

We had so much fun showing her off. She was half asleep half screaming the whole night! We loved it! Don't you love Steve'e mustache? It seemed to be a hit?
