I Think I QUIT

Ok, so my last post was dedicated to the hard work i did last week. Believe me, I am not exaggerating!!! I worked so hard exercising, not sneaking any treats and just overall doing better than ever.

I get on the scale and gained over 5 pounds! I literally started crying. So, I am at my breaking point. Why eat healthy? Why bust my butt exercising? I am seriously to the point where I am ready to say " I QUIT". AAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!!

I know, but it is such a trick!! Just tell yourself it is 5 pounds of pure muscle that is going to burn tons of fat off this week. If you're on a plateau, then you've got to go down soon!

Don't be in despair! That 5 pounds may not be accurate. It could be water weight too. So really, don't worry, and don't give up. Slow and steady wins the race. Really! Just a tip, weigh yourself in the morning when you wake up, at around the same time each week. It may be more accurate and consistent that way. Don't quit! Like Page said, it will come off!

Don't quit! The advice about weighing yourself at the same time of day in the morning it true. Also women tend to gain during that time of the month too. It'll happen next week just keep doing what you're doing!! :)

Jaime- I'm with them! I find that whenever I start working out after I haven't in a while, the scale goes UP at first. That is the HARDEST PART. If I can keep going after that, it gets better, easier, and THEN the pounds start coming off.

Jamie, They're all right! AN IDEA: If you're frustrated about exercising yourself to death maybe you could consider focusing on what you're eating as your weightloss tool and do lighter exercise like Pilates or Yoga. Those do help a person loose weight by increasing circulation and matabolism as well as burning calories. Try to walk as far and as often as you can (even if it's just parking as far away from the door as you can. And take the stairs.)For fun intermingle the fun exercising like kick boxing. When it comes to food focus on Water (LOTS AND LOTS), Fiber, Whole Grains (BobsRedMill.com has a great data base of recipes), Veggies, and NO REFINED FOODS! You really will notice a difference! Are you taking any vitamins or anything?? Think FISH OIL/OMEGA 3! Love Ya!
